Matthew Boyd is a Toronto-based designer, art director and typographer. Matthew is currently the Design Director at Tomorrow Creative Services.
Before joining Tomorrow, Matthew was the Design Director at Auxly, where he was responsible for leading the development and growth of multiple top performing cannabis brands. He directed several collaborative initiatives with artists, designers and photographers to create retail spaces, campaign photography and video, and limited edition products and accessories.
Before that he held the position of Design Director at Concrete, an internationally recognized design studio where he developed branding, packaging and campaigns for commercial and cultural clients. Previously he was a founding partner of the studio Way Shape Form, where he designed publications, printed materials and packaging for museums, publishers and record labels.
His work has been recognized by organizations like the Type Directors Club, Graphis, the One Club and the ADCC, and has been included in publications such as GRAPHIC (KR) and Monocle. He holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, where he received the Presidential Scholarship.
